The Baptistery, Pisa

My favourite of the four buildings in the Campo dei Miracoli, the Baptistery stands opposite the west end of the Duomo. This building took over a centuary to complete, leading to noticeable distinction between the Romanesque lower half of the building and the gothic top storeys and dome.
